Christmas. What a wonderful time full of magic. Full of hope, joy, and dreams for the New Year.
"This year I am going to...."
If you're anything like me, the New Year is full of good intentions. Big dreams of eating better, being more organized, looking and feeling better, and losing those last few pounds.
I think we naturally set these hopeful expectations each year. And our intentions are good. Sometimes we even go as far as to press into them; cutting out the junk food, purchasing a gym membership, and planning our days in a fresh annual planner.
Yet, somewhere between January and March, our dreams become less vivid and we slowly find ourselves creeping back into our old routines. The dreams still swirl in the back of our minds, but the effort seems to exceed the outcome and the routines aren't regimented.
Why?
We lack direction.
"A goal without a plan is just a wish"
This couldn't be more true. We set goals, we envision our success, but we aren't quite sure how to achieve it. This Christmas, I wish you a year full of meeting, achieving, and succeeding your goals.
I wish you a year full of health, and happiness, and strongly regimented habits.
Repeating positive efforts will lead to positive rewards.
Making positive efforts can be easy. Making them consistently can be difficult.
We're here to help you, to support you, and to guide you to your dreams in 2017.
If you're unsure of how to make repeatable, action steps to help you achieve your goal, we would be happy to help. We have a mission of helping 100 people transition from "goal setters" to "goal getters" this year.
Post your goals below. We would love to hear them and help keep you accountable.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Cheers to making this the year you achieve your goals.
